So, at the request of my 4 grandsons – Logan, Cai, Moise & Phoenix – here is another video of Keiko. Keiko is basically afraid of any kind of toy – especially those little cat balls with the bells in them. I worked with her, showing her how mommy was not afraid to play with the toys, and soon she picked them up in her beak when I handed them to her. Then, of course, I had to add the bucket, hold her over the bucket, and she would drop them as soon as I handed them to her. After a while, thought I would teach her to ‘drop it’ on cue, and she did pretty good. She is still in the learning phase, but is doing pretty good. And yes, I have to say YAYAAYYY like I do, because she is used to that. When she misses the bucket, I just say ‘Uh Oh’. Funny it’s really like teaching a baby. Hope I am doing this right. Both me and Keiko are having a lot of fun learning about each other.
